My latest book – Laying Down the Law – was published by Sweet & Maxwell in 2011 and was very kindly launched by Lord Falconer of Thoroton and Sir Edward Caldwell at a reception at Berwin Leighton Paisner’s offices in June 2011.  It was selected as the Book of the Month for June 2011 on Wildy’s website, and I am delighted with how it has been received – almost everybody seems to have found material for pleasurable disagreement in the book, which was exactly as planned.  The book deals with the people, processes and problems that shape Acts of Parliament – for further details see the publisher’s website.
