British and Irish Association of Law Librarians
In July 2019 my article entitled Lions and Librarians: a Plea for the Intelligent Conservation of an Unnecessarily Endangered Species
was published in the Legal Information Management, 19 (2019), pp. 88–91 by the British and Irish Association of Law Librarians
(doi:10.1017/ S1472669619000197). I was asked by the Association to contribute a piece to their 50th anniversary journal, so I focused on something of the history of the law librarian, and some thoughts on the enormous opportunities for the profession opened up by machine learning and other fast-emerging technologies.
